Developer Codemasters and publisher Deep Silver dropped a new gameplay trailer yesterday for the new action-packed-wreck-oriented racer ONRUSH. So far everything I’ve seen about this game points to it being absolutely awesome, and this new trailer is no excpeption.
The hook of ONRUSH is that after wrecking, you respawn right in the middle of the race, returned to the action very quickly.
“As the Race, Wreck, Repeat trailer highlights, each track has multiple routes. A player can use the variety of avenues to their advantage, or, more often than not, disadvantage. Wince-inducing pinch points, stomach- churning near-misses and unforgiving environmental obstacles all play a pivotal role in testing a player’s reactions and keeping them on the edge of their seat. Each track is also multi-layered, meaning the player can chose to stick to the ground, or go up high in order to wipe-out an opponent from above with a crushing takedown,” says the official press release.
I was a big Burnout guy back in the PS2/PS3 days. ONRUSH looks like it takes what made Burnout great, and injects that formula with nitro and meth. I'm 100% in.
ONRUSH is scheduled to release on June 5th, 2018 for PlayStation 4.
