State of Decay 2 was announced a few years ago at E3 but soon we will be able to survive the zombie apocalypse again, and with our friends this time. State of Decay 2 will launch on Xbox One and Windows PC on May 22nd.
The game will cost $30 and will have a $50 Ultimate Edition which includes a copy of State of Decay: Day One Survival edition and two DLC packs called Independence and Daybreak.
The one thing I loved about the original State of Decay was that it was more about the survival aspects during a zombie apocalypse rather than just killing endless hoards of zombies like Dead Rising. Sneaking around and raiding houses and convenience stores for vital supplies was incredibly addicting, and for those who do like slaughtering zombies, the combat was fun as well.
