UPDATE (02-13-18 2:50 PM):
Atlus announced today that to celebrate the release of Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology, fans can download a new Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology 3DS theme for free. The "Chibi Theme" is now available in the Americas in the Nintendo Theme Shop.
ORIGINAL STORY:
Although everyone agrees that the Nintendo Switch is the new hotness (and I'm no exception), the 3DS still has a lot of life in it. I’m prepping to travel for work next week, and I can’t bring myself to toss that $300 Switch into my carry-on bag to get clanged around on a cross-country trip. My 3DS folds in half, protecting itself, and it doesn’t have any removable parts that might snap off. Its self-contained nature makes it perfect for travel, and it easily fits in a pocket when not in use.
My 3DS is about to get a little sweeter. To me, handheld systems are basically JRPG machines, and one of the finest JRPGs ever is getting a tune-up with the release of Atlus Games' Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology on 3DS tomorrow. The 2010 DS original (see our review here) has long been considered a classic in JRPG circles, often garnering comparisons to Chrono Trigger (the holiest of holies). While that comparison is legitimate due to the shared time-travel dynamic in both games, Radiant Historia is no knock off. It has a great, deep story and battle system all its own.

I played the original way back in 2010, and I’m anxious to revisit the continent of Vainqueur, and once again tamper with the forces of time.
