In a new update today, Bandai has released a ton of new information on the content included in Dragon Ball FighterZ, as well as Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.
First, for FighterZ:
Dragon Ball Super characters Super Saiyan Rose Goku Black, Hit, and Beerus have been included on the roster.
With specific player combinations or finishing moves are performed, cutscenes will recreate iconic moments of the anime. I wonder if there will be any twenty minute long takes of the opposing players just staring at each other? Now that would be entertaining.
The new Shenron system allows players who perform a specific number of combos to collect the Dragon Balls. When all seven are collected, Shenron will appear, and grant players one of four wishes:
Restoring the player-character to full health.
Recovering a lost ally to 50% health.
Boost Ki gauge to MAX.
Restoring 50% health with auto-restoration of energy gauge.
For the Beta, Day 1 access begins on January 13th, 2018 for players who digitally preordered the game on consoles. Access for everyone else begins January 14th at midnight and ends January 15th at 11:59 PM.
And now for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Additional Story Mode contents, as well as new character Fu will be released with Extra Pack 2 in February 2018. Lastly, players can also now customize characters within the game.
Dragon Ball FighterZ releases January 26th, 2018.
