In a new video released on Call of Duty's YouTube channel today, we've got a mini-documentary that goes a little behind the scenes and shows the developers talking about what it's like to develop a game about WWII.
Many patriotic chest beatings ensue, and overall it's a sweet little video talking about how much they want to respect the heroes of the conflict.
One snippet about the game itself did rise above the flag-waving though. Although I'm paraphrasing, a developer states that the player is not a super-soldier, but a member of a team. From recent videos, it seems like that just might be the case this time.
Call of Duty: WWII releases November 3rd.
