Crackdown 3 is being delayed

If you were hoping to play Crackdown 3  with the Xbox One X, then Polygon has some bad news for you. The game is going to be delayed until 2018.

What was going to be a launch title with Project Scorpio is now moved to a Spring 2018 release window. It's been in development for a while now and the E3 showing it had didn't exactly wow people.

Maybe because of the disappointment with the last game, I wasn't as excited as I should have been. I was a big fan of the first game and really disliked the second one, so I have some reservations about the third one. I am happy that the game's delayed to try and improve the quality on it. I think Microsoft really needs this one to be a big hit to erase the memories of the previous one and to also have another franchise on their hands that they can rely on.

Let's hope this delay will make the game as best as it can be.
