Arc System Works' Dragon Ball Fighter Z was the final game I got to preview at Bandai Namco's booth at E3.
Nothing new was shown, other than there are currently six confirmed characters for the game, namely Vegeta, Goku, Gohan, Cell, Majin Boo, and Frieza.
The animation is going to be a mix of 2D and 3D, which looked interesting in distinguishing the game's aesthetic. From my perspective, it looked as if the game had 3D backgrounds, but 2D fighting animation, which looked great.
The vocal tracks will be English and Japanese, including all of the original voice actors for the Japanese version of the show. It's slated for release in early 2018. No details on story mode, closed beta, or platforms, but there will be more characters added later.
