It's been a while since we've seen anything about Quantic Dream's Detroit: Become Human, and now we finally have some gameplay to chew on. So far Detroit looks a lot more involved than their previous efforts like Heavy Rain, as it involves some pretty heavy and immediate choices.
As an escaped android named Marcus, you can lead your revolution as you see fit. Obviously you can smash up neighborhoods and spring fellow androids out of robot stores, which leads to chaos and a crackdown by the police. However the trailer hints at pacifist options, which I find more interesting. The idea of becoming the replicant equivalent of Ghandi and leading my cybernetic people to a peaceful independence is really compelling. I'm glad Detroit: Become Human is shaping up to be more of a game than a big interactive cutscene.
