Here's an interesting concept. EA's introducing a game that you must play cooperatively. And it's split screen on the couch or online. That's pretty new.
A Way Out starts out in a prison and you're going to have to work with someone else to get out. Something shown during EA Play is that a cut scene could be happening while the other guy would have control and you see what's going on all the time.
The split screen isn't confined to be side by side as there are instances where it's split horizontally as well. Making you play with someone else in a forced split screen view is a pretty interesting concept.
A Way Out comes out next year for Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4.
