E3 2017—that's Electronic Entertainment Expo, if you're nasty—packs the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 13-15. Every year it seems questionable as to whether "this is E3's last year," but, as far as most of the planet is concerned, it's still the premier video game and hardware event.
Geoff Keighley, industry veteran and producer of The Game Awards, released the full lineup of panels and guests appearing in E3's The Coliseum (June 13 and 14), which will be held at The Novo, a 10-minute walk from the L.A. Convention Center.
Special guests include Kung Fu Panda's voice actor Jack Black, science communicator Neil deGrasse Tyson, Guardians of the Galaxy writer James Gunn, host of MTV's Singled Out (1995-'98) Chris Hardwick, Breaking Bad writer Gennifer Hutchison, director of 2016's Ghostbusters movie Ivan Reitman, and director of the Kong: Skull Island movie Jordan Vogt-Roberts.
Coliseum's opening talk is "God of War: Behind the Curtain." It's been a year since the world was introduced to Dad of War, so Game Director Cory Barlog and his team at Santa Monica Studio will share new insights into Kratos's world.
Other talks will come from Bungie (talking about Destiny 2, hosted by one of Destiny's biggest fans, WWE superstar Big Show); Ubisoft talks about what's next from the totally-not-leaked Assassin's Creed: Empire aka Assassin's Creed Egypt, Finally!; and obviously many more. We're tuning in to as much as humanly possible, but I'm personally taking sick leave in order to see what Bethesda is newly announcing at the show.
Full lineup after the jump.
