Nintendo will be hosting a few invitational tournaments to test players' mettle at E3. Among these is the recently announced Pokkén Tournament DX. The format of this tournament will be a Crew battle, consisting of four teams, two players per team. Each team's first member will need to choose from the newly available Pokémon; while the second member can select any of the Pokémon.

Those talented enough to claim victory will win Pokkén Tournament DX art signed by the CEO of The Pokémon Company, Tsunekazu Ishihara, as well as members of the game's development team.

Play-by-play updates will be provided by casters VikkiKitty, D1, and Jordan Kent.
