Highlights from today's Pokémon Direct

At long last, new information has been released by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company regarding what we can expect for Pokémon's near future.

Pokkén Tournament DX will punch its way to Nintendo Switch on November 22nd. Initially launched on the Wii U, this remastered Pokémon fighting game will include some new game modes, and new Pokémon to select as well.

Pokémon Ultra Sun / Ultra Moon are coming to Nintendo 3DS on November 17th. Pokémon Trainers will return once again to the island of Alola - the setting for last year's Pokémon Sun / Moon. This time around, expect to meet new Pokémon, new friends, and a whole new adventure.

Finally, Pokémon Gold / Silver will launch on Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console. Expect to catch these classic Pokémon games on September 22nd. Although these are classic Game Boy titles, Trainers will be able to move the Pokémon they catch to the current generation using the Pokémon Bank.
