This summer, Splatoon 2 is going to be available on the Nintendo Switch. The original Splatoon made owning a Wii U worthwhile, so it's no surprise that there's a lot of excitement surrounding its sequel. To add fuel to this excitement, Nintendo just announced that they're releasing a handful of new Splatoon-themed hardware.
On July 21st, 2017, these squiddy items will be released:
While the carrying case and Pro Controller look pretty rad, the focus here should go right to the Splatoon 2 Nintendo Switch bundle. If adventuring through Hyrule wasn't your thing, maybe shooting ink at your friends in Splatoon 2 will be what gets you to grab a Switch. Plus, these bundles can only mean more Switch consoles will be out there for the buying.
Additionally, Nintendo is releasing a pair of Neon Green / Neon Pink Joy-Cons in the Autumn of 2017.
There's no official word on their availability in North America at the time of this writing. It's too bad that they're not the Joy-Cons that come with the Splatoon 2 Switch bundle.
