2K and Firaxis Games have recently released their Spring 2017 update for Sid Meier's Civilization VI. The update, which is available now for PCs and will be coming soon for Mac and Linux players, includes a lot of balance changes, AI adjustments, multiplayer changes, and bug fixes, as well as some additional in-game content and a few additions to the development tools. A full list of these changes can be found over on the Civilization VI website.
In addition to all of those changes, 2K and Firaxis Games have also released the Persia and Macedon Civilization and Scenario Pack. This premium DLC adds Persia, led by Cyrus, Macedon, led by Alexander the Great, and a new scenario, "The Conquests of Alexander". According to 2K and Firaxis, "Persia is perfect for players who want to build a rich empire, and who aren't afraid to launch a sudden, unexpected military strike. Macedon on the other hand is a powerhouse conquering civ, with special units and abilities that let players bring the world under their control from early in the game". Two new civilizations with different playstyles should add a bit more variety to the game for those wanting to check out some new civilizations. This new DLC is $8.99 over on Steam and more info can also be found on the Civilization VI website.
