If I put together a top 10 list or my best games of 2016 list, Doom would be right near the top. I can easily say that the original Doom is my favorite game of all time and I absolutely love what Bethesda did this reinvention of the series. Over the year they have been adding a ton of new content into the game including the Arcade single player mode and new items for Snapmap. The 5th free update to the game is available now and brings new multiplayer and SnapMap content with it.

Here is all of the content that is being added in the newest update.

  • Infernal Run – a new competitive game mode where teams fight for control of the ball and score in the opponent’s goal.
  • Bots – available on original multiplayer maps in Team Deathmatch and Deathmatch game modes.
  • Multiplayer rank now extends to Echelon 11 – once you reach the new highest ranking, you’ll unlock the signature DOOM Marine Armor (Praetor Suit)!

·   SnapMap

  • Play as the DOOM Marine in the DOOM Marine Armor (Praetor Suit).
  • More elements from the campaign, allowing you to play and create even more campaign-like experiences.
  • Lazarus Lab themed modules and props.

In addition, to celebrate the new multiplayer additions, Double XP will be turned on and will run until December 12th at 12PM ET.

Lastly, the Bloodfall DLC pack will be available December 15th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC and includes the ability to play as the "Spectre" or the invisible Pinky demon.
