November is rolling through with more games flooding into stores. This week sees some more major releases launching, including a remastered collection that I personally feel is long overdue. That game, of course, is Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection. The compiled adventures of Ezio Auditore are some of the most beloved entries in the AC franchise and I honestly thought we would have seen HD remakes of them a while ago. This brings together AC II, AC Brotherhood, and AC Revelations into a single package, with all of the single player content of the games, including all of the DLC chapters released after their initial launch.
Nintendo is also laying their claim to this week’s headline of the biggest title(s) with a pair of new Pokemon titles. Pokemon Sun and Moon are launching this week on the 3DS and are all-new entries in the Pokemon line of RPGs. This new adventure is set in the ALola region of the Pokemon world, which is sort of a tropical paradise based on Hawaii. There are dozens of new Pokemon featured in the game, including all new Alola forms of classic creatures fans know and love.
Watch Dogs 2 is also launching this week which will bring a new open-world action adventure experience to the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The original proposed an interesting content to the sandbox adventure genre, ditching over the top violence for computer hacking and electronic manipulation. Unfortunately, the game wasn’t exactly everything gamers were hoping for. The development team went back to the drawing board and took all of the criticisms from fans to heart to craft this new adventure. This time players will get to explore a fictionalized San Francisco.
