I thought that we would have a couple of week to prepare for the Fall rush, but things are actually starting to pick up quicker than expected. This week is a god preview of just how hectic things are going to get over the next few months.

Fighting game fans are going to be able to head back to SNK’s classic tournament with a new King of Fighters. KoF XIV is only launching for the PlayStation 4. With a roster of 50 characters who will be facing off in 3-on-03 battles, as well as a variety of modes, the latest entry in the series could very well be the best yet. We posted our review this morning and Matt thought is was definitely one that fighting game fans should be excited about.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is also launching this week which brings Adam Jensen back to the forefront of the gaming world. In this alternate future, the line between humans and cybernetically enhanced creations have been blurred, and society has grown concerned. Those with the mechanical augmentations have been segregated from the rest of the population and a civil unrest is growing. Playing as Jensen, you will have to explore this bleak world and see whether things have grown this way naturally or if there is a conspiracy in place meant to destroy and divide humanity.

Of course, with schools going back into session and the weather finally starting to change, it can only mean one thing: football season is here. It’s Madden time ladies and gentleman! Madden 17 is launching for all o the major systems and will usher in a new season of football simulation for fans everywhere.

While not exactly on the topic of new releases, it is also worth mentioning that Nintendo is officially dropping the price of a bunch of their most poopular games this week. The company is adding a bunch of titles to their Nintendo Select lineup of titles which means that they will all be dropping to $19.99. We’re talking about games like LEGO City Undercover, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD, and Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon. Whether you own a 3DS or a Wii U, there are some great deals out there now for some quality games.
