It has been a big news week for 2K’s WWE 2K17. It seems as if each and every day new info has come out about the upcoming games. Let’s take a look at what we have learned over the psat couple of days:
Puff Daddy’s in-game soundtrack
Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs was given the task of putting together the game’s soundtrack this year. The legendary producer has selected 13 songs to set the mood for the experience throughout the menus and loading screens. Fans can look forward to hearing the following in the game:
More roster additions
This week also saw the announcement of 22 more superstars to the game’s roster. The second installment of the “Suplex City Census” brings the total to 51 official characters. The game is said to have the largest roster to date in the series so we have a lot more to go. So far, you can look forward to playing as the following:
Feature List
A little bit of light has been shed on the gameplay modes and features included in this year’s release on a new blog post by the game’s Executive Producer, Mark Little. Fans can expect a lot of the series’ staple modes to return, including the creation suite, 2K Showcase, MyCareer, and. the WWE Universe. All of these have been revamped and will feature a variety of improvements and updates over the previous iterations. WWE 2K17 will also feature the debut of the “Promo Engine”, although the specific details about what exactly that is have yet to be released.
WWE 2K17 will launch for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4 on October 11, 2016.
