If you love space combat, Elite Dangerous: Arena might just be up your alley. A subset of Elite Dangerous, Arena lets you dog fight with others online. And for this weekend, it will be free on Steam and on FrontierStore.net.
You get a choice of four types of ships and can battle in four types of arenas. Gameplays available are deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the flag with up to eight people. The game does look gorgeous and if you have a HOTAS setup, you're going to have a good time.
Hurry though as the offer only lasts until July 11, 6PM BST which is 1PM ET or 10AM PT. If you pick it up during the weekend, it will be free forever so there's no reason not to add it to your Steam library.
