Happy 4th of July, everyone! We are officially rolling into the second half of 2016 and kicking off a new month. Things are a little slower compared to the past two weeks, but there is still plenty to play.
Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owners are getting a new free to play option with the launch of Hawken. “The best looking game that you’ve never heard of” has been entertaining PC gamers for years and is now making the jump to consoles. We’ll have an interview with the development team in the coming weeks taking a deeper look into the process of moving to consoles as well as some impressions of the game next week.
Stainless Games is bringing back a classic as Carmageddon returns for a new generation with Carmageddon: Max Damage on both Xbox One and PS4. Twenty years after the game made its debut on PC’s, the new installment of the game blends insane vehicular combat with slapstick comedy. There are more than 30 vehicles to choose from, all of which can be customized and tailored to your liking.
Vive owners are getting an upgrade to a demo that they have likely been playing endlessly for the past few months. The Brookhaven Experiment is making the jump from addicting demo to full-fledged experience as the game officially launches on Steam. It’s you and your gun guarding your campsite from invading monsters. It’s a simple premise but extremely intense and a ton of fun.
