We're only a week out from launch, but seeing the latest JoJo's Bizarre Adventure game on hand at the Bandai Namco booth, I just had to check it out. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven is out on June 28th for the PS4 for the first time in the series. Developed by CyberConnect2, it's one of the most visually appealing games on the platform, and just has me wondering, where the hell is Asura's Wrath 2? Oh wait let's talk about Joestar first.

If you know anything about JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, it's that it is incredibly stylish, in such a way that releasing it on the previous generation of consoles was the only way to really showcase what this series was all about. Making the jump to the PS4 has only ramped up the visual quality, and you'll see it from the moment you start the game's story mode which now spans multiple JoJo's generations of characters and timelines.

The combat system has also been expanded to allow for 2v2 fights, giving players an experience that is similar to the Naruto series of games that CyberConnect2 has developed in the past. Fights now take place in larger arenas and can be taken online with up to three other friends, giving you plenty of choices for setting up dream battles. Want four Dio Brandos running around? You'll have all the 'Muda muda muda' you can handle. There's more than 50 characters to use, so you'll have plenty of options in finding the right character for you.

Controls for this game are easy to get a handle on, with combos executed with a simple sequence of the square button. You can interrupt those combos with any of your character's special moves, giving you lots of high damage potential, and you can even combine special attacks with your partner for the ridiculous looking and damaging Dual Heat Attacks.

If you're a fan of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, then Eyes of Heaven is going to be your jam. Given CyberConnect2's penchant for making over the top games, I expect this one to be of the same level of quality as their past games.
