E3 2016: COD:Infinite Warfare footage looks like a Battlestar Galactica and Moonraker crossover

Let's be honest, a lot of people are a bit burned out on Call of Duty right now.  I purchased the last iteration of the game and could barely make it through the first few missions before shutting if off.

However after watching the footage of COD:Infinite Warfare from the Sony press conference last night and reading Matt's impressions from earlier today I am now counting down the days until the game comes out on November 4th.

Why? It's because Infinity Ward has taken a lot of the same gameplay components that we've seen in the previous games and put them in a spanking new context.  Vehicle mission?  Yeah but now it's a space ship and it's tied seamlessly into the gameplay.  Fire fights?  How about zero gravity fire fights with a grappling hook?  Ship mission?  Yeah but how about in space.  I don't want to oversell it her but it looks like we may have one of the more innovative Call of Duty game in years.
