Volition has announced their latest game and unfortunately Volition's it isn't Freespace 3 or Saints Row 5. Instead it's Agents of Mayhem, a new franchise that has a bit of that over the top Saints Row feel.
You will play one of the agents of M.A.Y.H.E.M. (the Multinational Agency for Hunting Evil Masterminds) who must defeat the evil plots of L.E.G.I.O.N. (the League of Evil Gentlemen Intent on Obliterating Nations). Hopefully that's it for long lengthy forced acronyms that awkwardly spell out words as the game does interesting from the first trailer below. I'm not sure how you can top "Ahoy Motherf**ers" as an entrance line but the tone and feel of the game are interesting.
Unfortunately there's no gameplay footage yet but hopefully that will be rectified soon. Until then enjoy this world setting trailer.
