In case you missed it sprawled across the masthead at the top of the site today (or are stumbling upon this some time later when it's been replaced by more recent reviews) Dead Island Definitive Collection is out now and our review is up. But that's not all, the developers have also a released a launch trailer for your viewing pleasure. Maybe that's just the thing to whet your appetite for the game or the review.
If that's not enough, how about some brief facts: Dead Island Definitive Edition is the combination of the previously released Dead Island and Dead Island Riptide, wrapped up with the new mode Dead Island Retro Revenge, and given a graphic makeover for the next-gen. New textures, new lighting and shading, motion blur effects, it's all in there. It also introduces online 4-player co-op, Remote Play and Share Play on PS4, streaming, recording and the rest of the modern goodies.
Dead Island Definitive Collection (the one with both games) is out today for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Suggested retail price is $39.99, or you can just pick up one or the other of the games constituting the main package, Dead Island Definitive Edition or Dead Island Riptide Definitive Edition at $19.99 each.
