Frontier Developments has recently released the biggest free update for Elite: Dangerous thus far.  "The Engineers" expansion for Elite Dangerous: Horizons unlocks customization options that allow you to change the way you fly, trade, explore, and fight in the Elite Dangerous galaxy.  You can earn the trust of the Engineers to unlock powerful upgrades for your ship, watch the impact of your actions on the galaxy with the all-new mission board, and more.  The Engineers is now available for all Elite Dangerous: Horizon players.

But wait, there's more.  All Elite Dangerous players will get the free 1.6 gameplay update that features the new mission system and crafting materials as well as hundreds of gameplay tweaks and additions.  Xbox One players will also receive Private Group play and fully customizable controls in their update.
