It's been a while since I've played any sort of dogfighting games that don't have the words "Star" and "Fox" in the title, and even then I was never that good at them, Crimson Skies being the exception. However, if dogfights in space are more your thing, Frontier Developments has released Elite Dangerous: Arena for the Xbox One. The game lets you choose from four combat-honed ships including the Federal and Imperial Fighters, the Eagle, and the Sidewinder, and compete in one of four arenas with up to eight players in a Free-For-All, Team Deathmatch, and Capture the Flag.
All existing Elite Dangerous players on the Xbox One will now own Arena as part of the core game. Those who don't have Elite Dangerous can purchase Elite Dangerous: Arena for $7.49. You can also purchase a bundle on Xbox Live that includes both Elite Dangerous and Elite Dangerous: Arena for $37.49.
