This week is shaping up to be a bit of a gloomy week, but that isn’t because we don’t have good games being released. Both of this week’s marquee titles are dark in nature, as both Hitman and Tom Clancy’s The Division launch. Hitman is the sixth entry in the long running series that let’s players assume the role of the deadly Agent 47. As one of the world’s deadliest assassins, you’ll be criss-crossing the world to tackle a variety of high value targets. Nathan has a preview that will be up later this week and credits the new game for returning to its classic form of giving players a variety of options for how they approach and eliminate targets.

The Division is looking to bring a new breed of shooter to the industry as it combines RPG styled gameplay with an open-world shooter. Following a terrorist attack that is launched on Black Friday, the United States descends into chaos. As a member of the Strategic Homeland Division, players are dropped into a mid-crisis Manhattan and attempt to restore a little bit of order to society.

Reviews are still out on both games, so we will have to wait and see what the verdict is on them. Chuck is currently diving into The Division, so we should know relatively soon how that one stacks up.
