Chandelure will be playable in Pokken Tournament...wait, what?

I'll be honest, when I first heard that Pokken Tournament was announced, the thought of a Pokemon fighting game both intrigued and puzzled me at the same time.  I knew the game wouldn't be all fighting-type Pokemon, but the fifteen that had been announced all kind of make sense in a way...and then Chandelure was announced.  According to Shoryuken, the Ghost/Fire type Pokemon will be officially making its way to Pokken Tournament.  For those who don't know, Chandelure is basically a chandelier.

I get that they want to go for a bit of variety, but a ceiling light fixture made its way into a Pokemon fighting game before the three Pokemon you'd think would have been announced near the start (Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, and Hitmontop).  Still, I'm not going to completely dismiss the idea until I see Chandelure in action, but at least the other announced Pokemon all have feet.
