Assassin's Creed Syndicate ziplines onto PC today

More On: Assassin's Creed: Syndicate

Assassin's Creed Syndicate, which "comes pretty blooming close to its maximum potential," is on PC as of today, November 19. I never found an explanation as to why the PC's launch trailed the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One's by a month, but that was always the plan on Ubisoft's end.

People are saying that Syndicate is a return to form for the series. Some high-scoring accolades attest to that in this PC launch trailer. If you never caught onto the high-seas antics of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, first of all: What's wrong with you? But, second of all, Syndicate may indeed be that land lubbin', zip-line-throwing, carriage-chasing return to form you were waiting for. I like the face-slapping hard rock track, too, though Google is failing me when I try searching for the song by lyrics.

Again, Assassin's Creed Syndicate is out today, November 19, on PC, and has been out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One since October 23.

Set in London during the height of the Industrial Revolution, players will step into the shoes of twin Master Assassins, Jacob and Evie Frye. Fighting to liberate London, Jacob and Evie help define the birth of organized crime in an adventure filled with action, intrigue and brutal combat. The development of Assassin's Creed Syndicate is being led by Ubisoft Quebec.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate is now available worldwide for PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One, and will be available for Windows PC on November 19.
