Plants versus Zombies is one hell of a versatile franchise. While it started as a casual puzzle title on mobile platforms, it actually translated extremely well to being a full fledged shooter on consoles and PC. Garden Warfare was a pleasant surprise when it launched in early 2014. I loved the game and Cahill thoroughly enjoyed it when he reviewed it on the Xbox One.
We are about to find out if PopCap can work their magic again as Garden Warfare 2 has been given a firm release date of February 23, 2016. The game is launching on the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Xbox One owners who are members of the EA Access service will be able to play the game earlier than the launch date and get a 10% discount on the purchase price of the game.
