Firewatch gets February 2016 release date -- only four months away

More On: Firewatch

Right after No Man's Sky, Firewatch is probably the most-watched indie game on the horizon. And Firewatch finally has a launch date: February 9, 2016. That's fewer than four months away. Be still, my beating heart.

Firewatch's insanely beautiful world and friction-rough dialogue, will be on PS4, PC, Mac, and Linux. Sorry, Xbox One.

Firewatch is coming to PC, Mac, Linux and PS4 on February 9, 2016!

We founded Campo Santo in October of 2013 and began working on Firewatch in January of 2014. Now, almost two years later, we're tweaking, tuning, bug fixing and polishing our first game. And if you're receiving this email, it means you threw in with us early and have been there every step of the way.

We're aiming for a world-wide release (as world-wide as our small studio can pull off) and will have more information in the lead-up to the date and, if you're in San Francisco, another opportunity for you to get your hands on the game (running on PS4 hardware!).

And as is our custom, this email comes along with it one of the finest Campo Santo Quarterly Reviews you'll ever read. This quarter Ombudsman Duncan Fyfe takes stock of uh, my stress levelexplores a small town in Pennsylvania, researches mythical forest beasts and, somehow, had the time to sit down with Bioware's David Gaider to discuss the Dragon Age series. Duncan really is the hardest working public advocate slash corporate mouthpiece in the video game business.

Circle February 9th on the calendar. And, as always, thank you for your continued support.
