Rodea the Sky Soldier has had a long, difficult development history, but nevertheless still looks promising. It started life as a Wii game before being transitioned over to Wii U and 3DS. Unfortunately NIS America has had to delay the game from an October 16th release to November 10th. The game will still include a copy of the original Wii game as developed, with a special reversible cover art. The 3DS version will come bundled with the game's soundtrack.
This makes me worried for Rodea as it was one of the few games in October on the Wii U's admittedly sparse release schedule. Now it will likely run up against the new Star Fox during the pre-holiday rush. Still, I'm happy that this prodigal adventure game is finally getting its day in the sun.
