Valve has released a video that shows off the final version of their Steam controller. The controller looks pretty solid and I'm really interested to see if it lives up to Valve's claims of being as accurate as a mouse.
The controller will be available on October 16th and you can pre-order the units now. At $49.99 the units are priced about where I would expect them to be and they are certainly comparable in price to what you see from Microsoft and Sony.
