Firefly Online patiently continues to shape up. Here's a first look at the 'verse (that's "universe," to the uninitiated) with voiceover from someone that went to the Nathan Fillion School of Narration.
The map is prettier than you'd expect, and there are also more terran planets than you'd expect, too. It's an oddly focused map, especially in this day and age of sci-fi games with thousands of stars and millions of hours of procedurally generated galaxies. It gives me hope that these are meaningfully crafted stages rather than endlessly spawned ones and zeroes. I'm just feeling kind of truthsome right now.
Firefly Online has a rumored release window of Spring 2015 on Windows, OSX, iOS, and Android.
