To this date, one of my favorite games on both the PS3 and Vita is the respective Super Stardust entries on each platform. The PS3 version is the most impressive 3D game that I have played on any console and the Vita version still gets played on whenever I am on the go nearly 2 years after launch. Sony and Housemarque has revealed that Super Stardust Ultra is headed to the PlayStation 4 early next year.
The new version is being called the most definitive version of Super Stardust to date. The game will support global leaderboards, direct challenging of your friends and competitors online, improved visuals, and both competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes. Expect to possibly hear more about the game this weekend out of the PlayStation Experience.
