After six months, Microsoft has taken the beta tag off of Project Spark and you can grab it for your Xbox One or Windows 8.1 PC.
Project Spark lets you create games with an easy to use interface. You can even play the game in construction while someone else is developing. It's pretty slick and there's been a ton of content and examples out there for you to follow.
You'll be able to develop games using a controller, mouse and keyboard, and even a touchscreen.
A $40 starter pack will be on sale with some content not available with the free version, which you can nab digitally. More content will be available for purchase to utilize in your game and the application itself will continue to evolve over time.
So if you've ever wanted to try your hand out at making a game, here's your chance.
