Redbox Instant heads for that great big kiosk in the sky

The battle of the premium streaming services is about to claim a casualty as one of our console streaming options is going away. Redbox and Verizon have announced that Redbox Instant is going offline. The streaming service will halt on October 7 at 11:59pm PST. If you are a current member of the service, either through the console applications or on the web, refund options will be made available on the service’s website beginning October 10.
