A good remake / remaster takes more than just re-releasing the same game with a fresh coat of paint. Anyone can do that., In order to make a re-release worthwhile, they need to take the time to actually improve the game and add some stuff to the experience. Square Enix wants to ensure you that they are definitely doing more than just a vanilla rehash with Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX.
The developer has released a new trailer for the game that shows off some of the new content being added to the experience. Fans can look forward to new bosses and a variety of new equipment when they pick up the game this coming December on PS3. I really need to track down a copy of the first HD ReMIX and play through the games in preparation for this as Kingdom Hearts is easily one of my favorite video game series of all time.
