I remember when Sony first announced PlayStation Mobile for Android and how it would open up a plethora of devices to play some classic and indie titles on various phones, I was pretty excited. That is, until the years went by and not much movement came out of the initiative.
Well, looks like Sony's going to throw in the towel as they will be discontinuing the support for Android, as reported by The Verge. I'm sure it won't be missed by those here in the United States. In fact, I couldn't think of any phones or tablets off the top of my head that support it, but doing a quick look at the support page showed a few newer phones were capable. Maybe if Sony advertised it more, it might have done a little better.
