Being a fan of Joss Whedon's cult-classic TV series Firefly is kind of like being in unrequited love. You had a small burning taste a long, long time ago and try as you might, you just can't forget. You also keep getting teased by potential reboots, sequels and games but nothing ever seems to materialize, leaving you broken, alone and still holding out hope.
Well it looks like Firefly Online, announced at last year's Comic Con, is actually going to happen. At Comic Con 2014, Spark Plug Studios and QMXi finally revealed a trailer for what they're working on, and I have only one word for it: shiny.
To be fair it looks a little rough around the edges, but just seeing that universe alive and well again makes it easy to look past any imperfections. And with Nathan Fillion back and aimin' to misbehave? Sign me up, let's get back to that crowded sky.
