Recently Harmonix had a successful Kickstarter for the revival of Amplitude. However, that's not the only thing they've been working on as they have recently released a rhythm-runner game called Record Run for Android devices via Google Play and the Amazon Appstore.
Record Run let's you pick a character and then dodge, slide under, and jump over a variety of obstacles in a busy city. You start out with just a tutorial song, but depending on how well you do you'll earn backstage passes which allow you to add song slots to your song list, letting you add your own songs to the few the game starts with. You can also collect records as you run through the city and use those to unlock new characters and outfits.
I decided to check it out and it's not bad. If you've played games like Sonic Dash and other free-running games, this is very similar except it's in time to music and, eventually, songs on your phone. Occasionally the controls don't do what I want to do (ie. I end up switching sides of the sidewalk instead of jumping), but overall it seems pretty good for a free app.
