The grandaddy of all FPS games is taking the spotlight this week as Wolfenstein returns with a new entry across all of the major platforms. Sure, Wolfenstein wasn’t the first game to use the first-person perspective, but it was the first to do it right and it set the standard for nearly every one that has been released since. Aside from the new chapter in id’s classic franchise, there are a couple of digital titles for the PlayStation Network and a few retail releases as well for Sony’s platforms. Other than that, we are sort of just going to have to put it on cruise control as we approach E3 and enter the storied summer drought.
