Tropico 5 set for release on May 23 for PC

Kalypso Media has announced that Tropico 5 will be released globally on May 23 for PC along with the triumph return of El Presidente. The Xbox 360 and Mac versions will be released later this summer, then followed by the PlayStation 4 version in the fall. Along with the release announcement, the official Tropico 5 website has been overhauled with a wealth of information regarding the game's various features.

Some of the game's new features include advanced trading mechanics, scientific research trees, and island exploration. In addition, Tropico 5 be the first game in the series to contain cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes that will support up to four players.
