Here's a cool little piece of gaming culture. Critical Hit,the band fronted by WoW composer Jason Hayes, does a classical/electric fusion cover of Korobeiniki, better known as the iconic Tetris theme. I really like the baseline beneath the violin and piano. Regardless of the gaming aspect, it's a cool rendition of a classic Russian folk song.
Critical Hit will be co-headlining Orlando Nerd Fest this year with The Earthbound Papas, Nobuo Uematsu's (of Final Fantasy fame) band.
