Let's just kind of ignore Batman: Arkham Origins from now on as the game has had many issues and the way Warner Bros' Montreal is dealing with bug fixes is atrocious. Let's focus on what Rocksteady has coming up and that's the final Batman game in the Arkham series.
Batman: Arkham Knight is the next game from Rocksteady and we have all the familiar players back, including Kevin Conroy voicing the titular character. The main baddy this time around is Scarecrow, with the events of Arkham City necessitating a new head villain to tangle with.
Of course, you won't just be fighting Scarecrow as many of Batman's rogue's gallery will make their appearance in the game to try and take you down.
The environment will also be much larger and you'll finally be able to drive around in the Batmobile, something I've longed for since the first game. Below is the announcement trailer and I hope that Rocksteady can turn around the franchise given the bad press that Origins produced. Rocksteady, don't fail us.
Batman: Arkham Knight is due out on the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 sometime later this year. You can get some more information at Game Informer.
