It's been twelve years since Age of Wonders II, and now we only have to wait until March 31, 2014 for the release of Age of Wonders III. To whet your appetite, here's the new gameplay trailer that showcases all six of the leader classes:
The six Leader classes can forge their army from any of the six races- Humans, High-Elves, Dwarves, Draconians, Orcs, and Goblins. You'll fight grand, tactics-oriented battles against bandits, monsters and rival leaders as you build your mighty empire in a fantastic world with over fifty locations that are home to valuable assets to your armies.
Age of Wonders III features a main campaign where you'll fight in a good ol' fashioned magic vs. technology war, as well as online mulitplayer where you can play with or against your friends. And most importantly, the random map generator to keep games fresh and new. But they've already posted an eighteen minute Let's Play to showcase that.
