Jon Bois of SB Nation officially breaks Madden 25.

This isn't so much of a piece of news as it is something that is incredible entertaining, especially if you are a fan of Madden 25.  Jon Bois of SB Nation started a series called Breaking Madden, which the sole intention was to systematically break every aspect of the game in hilarious ways.  The season finale of his series, appropriately titled The Machine is Bleeding to Death, went up today, which featured two teams of nothing but created players on the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos.  The caveat to this is that the Seahawks were made to be seven feet tall, 400 pounds, and basically destroyers of worlds.  The Broncos were five feet, 160 pounds, and little more than speed bumps to the hulking monsters from the Pacific Northwest.

Bois did a fantastic thing with the season finale.  Throughout the year, he would create players in his columns by asking readers to answer questions via Twitter.  Sometimes these players became the greatest thing in football.  Other times, they were basically middle schoolers playing in the NFL.  In the season finale, however, he asked people to donate to their favorite charity in order to be considered for the finale.  The readers of the column, myself included, responded in droves.  Bois estimates that $5,000 was donated to various charities by the people who expressed interest to be included.  I was one of the "lucky" ones to be on the team of Broncos that basically had no chance, listed as a halfback, wearing the number six.

I won't spoil the outcome for you or go any further, simply because the column is far too entertaining to read.  Head on over to SB Nation to read the final excerpt, and let's all hope that Jon decides to this again next season.
