The man who made Red Baron in 1990 is remaking Red Baron

Among other games, Damon Slye made A-10 Tank Killer in 1989 (respek knuckles) and Red Baron right after that. Red Baron was always his favorite. He bought a small plane, flew it up and down the West Coast, then sold it to start Mad Otter Games. This new indie outfit, working out of Eugene, Oregon, is remaking 1990's Red Baron, and it's got a Kickstarter to nudge things along. Damon Slye has read the historical literature, he's probably pretended to dogfight other Cessna aircraft just minding their own business, and he's got a man crush on Manfred "Red Baron" von Richtofen. I'd say he's the right guy for the job.
