It looks like we're going to have to wait a bit to get our hands on
Star Wars: Battlefront as EA
revealed last week that the game won't be out until Summer 2015. If that date sounds familiar it's because that's when the next Star Wars movie is due to hit theatres.
You almost have to wonder if that means the new Battlefront game will contain content from the new movie (making it a tie-in game) or if it's going to be based soley on existing Star Wars canon. Personally I'm just glad to be able to type the words "new Star Wars movie" and I'm interested to see what DICE does with the franchise as the multiplayer component of the Battlefield games has always been really good.
