Nintendo is in a bit of a crisis lately with the persistent floundering of the Wii U, but at least they're trying to be transparent, I'll give them that. Their
Nintendo Direct series of mini-pressers routinely sheds light on development and the current status of games and Nintendo consoles, and for big events they even announce new games on the series. There's a new Nintendo Direct tomorrow, August 7th at 7am PT, and you can catch it
here. A little disappointingly they'll only be talking about new details on previously announced Wii U and 3DS games, but personally I'm looking forward for more info on
Wonderful 101. I can't wait for that one.
